The Omnibus Public Lands bill that contained our Wyoming Range legislation has finally passed the US House of Representatives by a resounding margin, 285 to 140. This vote, coupled with last weeks landside, bi-partisan victory in the US Senate means the president now will have his chance to sign the bill into law... |

Plains Exploration and Production Company ("Plains"), a Houston-based company with no experience drilling on national forest land, is seeking permission to drill 136 wells from 17 well pads and construct or upgrade 29 miles of roads, in the Hoback Basin is in the northern reaches of the Wyoming Range, 7 miles south of Bondurant.
